Peace! Thank you for allowing me to be part of Jared and your life while you were here over the last month and a half. It was my privilege to get to know him and be touched and inspired by him.
You are regularly in my thoughts - especially as staff ask about Jared. My continued prayer is that God hold you all very gently in the divine everlasting arms till your hearts are healed and we are all together with Jared.
Sincerely,
Chaplain Rob
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sangster:
I wanted to write and offer my condolences. You and Jared, throughout his ordeal, remained one of the bravest families I have ever had the pleasure to try and help. I will never forget Jared. He was a brave, strong, and decent boy; clearly the product of his parents.
I will always be available for you to answer any questions today, tomorrow, or ten years from now. Please call on me should I be able to help in any way.
God Bless.
Dr. Paul A. Grabb
Hi Lisa and William,
I want to say how very sorry I am about the loss of your son. I can only say that in my heart I really believe he is with the Lord now. But I know that doesn't make the hurt go away and how very much you are going to miss him. But I pray that God will each day give you a peace that only he can give and the comfort you need.
We love you and will also miss your sweet little boy. I know God will take good care of him till you see him again. Take care. We are praying for you and your family.
Love your friends,
George, Virginia and Nicholas
Dear William and Lisa,
Have had you on my mind for the past week and I want you to know that I have the same feeling about you losing your little boy. Remember God needed an angel in his flower garden. Remember I too lost my only son some years ago. The hurt will never go away but we must live with it.
I do hope I get to see you again when we meet at Elsie's home. If God permits me the time. Remember me in your prayers. I too pray for you.
Love and best wishes.
Your Aunt Ouida
I can only imagine what it feels like to lose a son. But I know your heart is broken. Thank God for His presence to carry us through times like these. You are in our prayers that God would grant His peace.

Dear William, Lisa and Adam,
I received your card in the mail Friday. I had you on my mind a lot the last month. I should have called. I'm so sorry. Every time you came to mind I said a prayer for you - I didn't know that Jared had passed away.
I will always have a very special place in my heart and memories of Jared and you. He never complained, his faith very evident. I will keep you in my prayers every day. Please call me if I can do anything for you or just need someone to listen. I will aways remember the courage and faith your whole family and especially Jared has always shown.

One of my favorite...

Once upon a time, in a warm little corner of my heart, there lived a very special little hug. It was a very special little hug simply because it was being saved for a certain moment when it would be needed most by someone who meant the world to me...
I'm sending that very special little hug to you today... because it seemed like just the right time... and because you are someone who does mean the world to me.
Dear Lisa, William and Adam,
I have intended to write you long before now, but things have been in a spin since we last saw you guys. I like to wait awhile before sending my families a note, because you get bombarded with notes and phone calls, then suddenly nobody is calling.
This past week had to be very difficult for you. Dr. Reddy and I have been thinking of you often. Our prayers are with you through every day and our hope is that each day will be a bit easier for you with more and more good memories being your most vivid thoughts.
We miss Jared dearly and with his passing we feel we have lost all of you too. It just breaks my heart with every family that must go through what you endured.
I only hope I can warm your hearts just a little by sending you this note ... knowing how much we love you guys.
Love,
Karen
