We received many cards and letters after Jared left us. I thought I would share a few with you tonight...
Dear William and Lisa,
In a time of great sorrow we take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father has strong arms for you to run into now and in the days and years ahead. He is able to handle every stage of the grieving process, even the despair and anger that come and go. You have the comfort of knowing Jared will never know suffering again and that the day will come when you will be together for eternity. But even in that knowledge there is still life here that is without his smile, laugh, touch and voice.
Our prayers have not stopped for you and your family. They will be there for you as you work through these "days of first"; first birthday, each holiday, etc. We will continue to lift you in prayer.
You are greatly loved. I wish you were not so far away - that I could give you a hug, weep with you in your sorrow and smile with you at the remembrance of precious memories of Jared's life.
In Christ's Love,
Brenda and Larry
To the Sangster Family,
I am so sorry about your loss of Jared. CBMS also lost a great person. May God bless you all and ease your pain. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We will always remember the fun times we had. Riding in the go cart and jumping on the trampoline. Jared will always be in our hearts! We will never forget him. And your family will remain in our prayers. And we're always here for you! Don't forget that!!

We're so saddened to hear of your loss and our hearts grieve with you. Though we cannot relate to the pain of it all we want you to know you're on our hearts and in our prayers. I know there is nothing I can say nor anything I can do that can alleviate the pain - but I know one who can - it's Jesus! No one more that He can feel your broken heart like He can nor have the empathy and compassion as He does. He is our great comforter in times like these. He gives us strength when we lose ours. (Isaiah 40:29). He'll hold us up when we feel like we're falling or no longer can stand (Isaiah 41:10). He is an ever present help when we need Him (Psalm 46:1).
Proverbs 34:19 tells us "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God delivereth us out of them all!"
He will comfort you. He will heal your broken heart. He will be all you need Him to be. God bless and keep you all always in His care.
In Christ.

Joyce and Mark kept us posted throughout this terrible ordeal. We're just so sorry there wasn't a different outcome. We know Jared's faith kept him strong to the end and that he was a great witness for the Lord. Now, may your faith bring you comfort, strength and peace.
Love in Christ.

Dear William and Lisa,
We just wanted you to know that you have been a part of our prayers for Jared's passing. We didn't know you all very well when you were at Mandarin Assembly but we are all brothers and sisters in Christ and when one part of that body is hurting the rest of us hurt for you and with you. We cannot imagine the hurt and burden you must feel, but know that we are lifting you up and praying for peace, hope, joy and a lightness of spirit. Helen has kept us aware of your situation and we will continue to check on you through her. God holds you in the palm of His hand.
In Christ,
Tasha
Lisa
There is nothing I can say or do to make all the pain go away. But please know that I think about you every day and my heart breaks for you.
The rest of your life will never be exactly the same, but you do have something to look forward to, seeing Jared's perfect little face again.
Please let William and Adam know I'm thinking of them also. I hope to see you again soon!
Dana
I will post more tomorrow night...
